Modern aeroengine design is one based on knowledge. Classification and acquisition of design knowledge is a key to successful implement of knowledge management for aeroengine design. It helps to accumulate design knowledge effectively
to push the plan of design knowledge management
to realize aeroengine design based on knowledge management to implement knowledge acquisition for aeroengine design. Consequently
this would advance the design capability for aeroengine. The knowledge of aeroengine design
which include the structure and design process of aeroengine
are analyzed. The classifi cation method of aeroengine design knowledge
the strategy and method of design knowledge acquisition are drawn out. Data mining and knowledge discovery in database are discussed.
