Research of XML-Based Data Exchange Between Reverse Reconstruction Model and CAD System
In order to make the reverse recon struction model be parameter-driven model after being imported into conventional CAD system
CSG/B-Rep hybrid mode is applied to represent the reverse reconstruction model
and a XML-based description of data exchange format is proposed
which contains all required parameter information of CAD model. After second development of CAD system
the XML files can be imported into CAD system
and accomplish the data exchange between reverse reconstruction models which are represented by CSG/B-Rep hybrid expression mode and conventional CAD system
which expands the reconstruction signifi cance of reconstruction model. Finally
the method is verifi ed by an example of data exchange between reverse reconstruction model and CATIA system.
