In order to improve the effi ciency of regional aircraft assembly
a concurrent assembly sequence planning method based on binary-encoding is presented to realize the concurrent assembly. Assembly priority of parts is described by binary-encoding
assembly feature table with time constraint is defi ned
and priority of parts is updated in the assembly process with the binary operation. Algorithm of concurrent assembly sequence planning is presented to reduce the assembly time
and the algorithm is illustrated by the example of regional aircraft to reduce the assembly time. This concludes the algorithm of concurrent assembly sequence planning based on binary-encoding is feasible and effective.
