FiberSim software was used for two-dimensional expansion of low-curvature 3D composite parts layer. CATIA was used for two-dimensional layout composing of multi-parts
and completing the redesign of batch manufacturing parts. This paper adopts automatic tape laying (ATL) programming technology to carry out multi-part programming
and finally realized the quantity production of small size and low curvature structural parts through ATL machine. The technique provides a means of quantity production for small size
low curvature structure composite parts
and solves the problems that a large number of small size
low curvature composite components
which can only relied on hand laying
so greatly improves the quality and efficiency of parts manufactures
improves the material utilization
and reduces the manufacturing cost. ATL technology provides a very good new application scenarios for composite manufacturing
and promotes the application and development of ATL.
