为研究置氢处理对TA15钛合金变形及切削机理的影响,利用拉伸试验和车削测力试验对比不同置氢量下该合金的力学行为、切削力、锯齿切屑显微组织特征的差异。结果表明,高置氢量合金的屈强比减小,塑性提高,加工硬化严重;置氢促进了热软化效应的发生,氢含量越高,引起切削力下降的临界切削速度越低;同时从未置氢和低置氢组的锯齿切屑内能够观察到不同区域内的塑性变形特征差异:均匀塑性变形存在于锯齿单元内,局部剧烈塑性变形存在于剪切带内,这验证了绝热剪切的发生;而高置氢组的锯齿切屑内的显微组织一致,未发现局部剧烈塑性变形特征,结合其较低频率锯齿化的切屑形貌,可以推断氢提高合金的整体塑性,并抑制了局部剧烈塑性变形,这对合金的切削加工性有较大的改善。
To study the influence of hydrogenation on deformation and cutting mechanism of TA15 alloy
tensile test and cutting experiment with different hydrogen content are performed to obtain the mechanical properties
cutting force and the differences in microstructure characteristics of serrated chip. The results show that the yield strength ratio decreases
the plasticity enhances with high hydrogen content and its working hardening is serious. Hydrogen promotes the thermal softening effect
and the higher hydrogen content
the lower critical cutting speed which causes the decrease of cutting force. The difference of plastic deformation characteristics in different regions can be observed in the serrated chip of the as-received and low-hydrogenated groups
the uniform plastic deformation exists in the serrated unit
and the local severe plastic deformation exists in the shear band
which verifies the occurrence of adiabatic shear. However
the microstructure with high hydrogen content has high consistency without local severe plastic deformation. The serrated chip morphology shows the feature of decreasing serration
so it can be inferred that the hydrogen improves the plasticity of the alloy and inhibits the local severe plastic deformation
which significantly improves the cutting performance of TA15 alloy.
